We rented Orange County and kept putting off watching it until having to watch it since it was late became something of a chore to be done. Kenshin had no desire for it so I popped it in to the sounds of power tools in the bedroom (he was putting together our bookcase). By the time he's finished and has retrieved us pizza, the movie is over.
I chose Orange County because I keep hearing everyone talk about it, and I wanted to know what they knew. Only after seeing the whole thing could I formulate my opinion, so I dutifully sat through the whole thing. My critique is such: movies are good based on the emotional response they give you. Dark Water was awesome just for that reason. Orange County brought out one that surpised me - Anger. I spent the very begining of it being a bit depressed, but that was quickly replaced with a pitiless anger at the characters. This was unpleasant, so I don't recommend watching the movie.
